Zion National Park is on par with Yosemite for its breathtaking views. You could spend days here exploring – give yourself at least two nights in the area to take it in properly. Access to the park during the busy season is by a free shuttle which runs from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center in Springdale. There are a lot of amazing short and longer hikes that are worth checking out. For a relatively short (1 hour) option, check out the Canyon Overlook Trail. If you’re up for some hard climbing then go for Angels Landing. If its a hot summer’s day, then consider the popular Zion Narrows – where you can expect to get wet hiking up the narrowest section of Zion Canyon. Commercial operators in Springdale can take you on more technical canyoneering adventures.
